Taking Our PEI Food Pulse

What do Islanders think, need and want when it comes to food? What's broken. What is unfair? How can we feed our families with soaring food prices and what needs to change. What's working? What's challenging? What would make things better?

We're asking Islanders to tell us about their grocery shopping, food costs, cooking habits, buying local and feeding themselves and their families.

Your answers will help the Canadian Source-to-Supper Network work with food producers, retailers, community organizations, Islanders and policymakers to strengthen PEI's food system.

Have your say!

CANADA · NON-PROFIT CORPORATION

Connected food systems,
source to supper.

The Canadian Source-to-Supper Network is a Canadian non-profit organization connecting people, communities and organizations across the food system. We deliver community programs, food education, food-security initiatives and collaborative projects that strengthen the connections from source to supper.

OUR PURPOSE

Connecting the source-to-supper local food ecosystem

We bring people together across the food system, from producers and processors to households, community organizations and local leaders. Through practical programs, education, research, advocacy and collaboration, we help communities strengthen local food connections, build food skills and create practical solutions to shared food challenges.

WHAT WE DO

01

Community Programs

We design and support practical community initiatives that improve food access, strengthen food skills and help people connect more closely with local food.

02

Food Education

We help people build the knowledge and confidence to shop, cook, preserve and make informed food choices, with programs designed for different ages, needs and communities.

03

Collaboration & Advocacy

We support community-led food initiatives, share research and public education, and advocate for practical policies that improve food access, food literacy and community food security.
